New Voyager App Releases, As Ethos Universal Wallet Update 2.0 Goes Live

Digital asset traders can now use the Voyager app to make crypto deposits and withdrawals. The app allows traders to load their Voyager accounts with either BTC or ETH and subsequently sell the assets to USD or other over 20 assets, all without paying any commission.

Using the app, one can simply pay any crypto-accepting merchant conveniently using the app. Bitcoin transactions might take longer to be completed, unlike Ethereum, although it is understandable.

Depositing crypto assets to one’s account is straightforward as the app has a QR scanner to capture the address. It might take a while for the funds to reflect on one’s account after depositing, especially if it is BTC. One, however, has to be extra-careful since any assets apart from BTC, sent to a BTC address are lost altogether.

To withdraw BTC or ETH to one’s wallet or vendor, there’s an option of either pasting the address or scanning it. The entire process is safe, straightforward and quite elaborate, even though all withdrawals from the Voyager account attract a little withdrawal fee. Voyager manually approves all withdrawal requests, and the process sometimes takes hours.

Upgrade To Ethos Bedrock For Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals On Voyager

The launch of the Voyager app is, however, linked to the recently released Ethos Universal Wallet Update 2.0. The new wallet has, among other upgrades, the functionality to allow BTC and ETH deposits and withdrawals directly from the app.

Bitcoin Cash Is Now Supported By Ethos’ Universal Wallet

Meanwhile, Ethos now supports Bitcoin Cash and the entire community behind the coin. Holders of SmartWallets can now transfer and store their BCH securely on the wallets and even secure them with PIN and Biometrics. Sending or receiving BCH coins is a snap and one only needs to scan the address using the QR code scanner.

Bitcoin Cash, formed from a hard fork of BTC, is a far more scalable than Bitcoin. Unlike other common cryptos, BCH has a complete coin profile, including live data and interactive charts. This P2P coin also is easy to track too and users can even rate and leave comments.

It is totally decentralized and compared to Bitcoin, its transaction costs are reduced. Right now, an estimated 1,000 retailers across the globe accept Bitcoin Cash payments even as the number keeps increasing.

It is Part of Several Newly Incorporated Features

But even as Ethos finally supports it, the wallet, as well as the app, is now twice as fast with double its original performance. Before their 2.0 release, they upgraded their entire backend system and moved their servers, a decision that has significantly enhanced the overall user experience among app users.

Also, they upgraded their Ethereum Nodes so that transactions involving ETH and Ethos’ ERC-20 tokens happen quickly. The upgrade eliminated the hefty wait times one had to endure before a transaction is confirmed.

It is also exciting that they slashed transaction fees involving BTC by a whopping 20%. They achieved this by optimizing their fee calculator.

Ethos Supports A New Token

Ethos now supports a new token called Typerium (TYPE), from a project building a Blockchain-based content creation platform.
